Fixed Braces
Fixed braces are small brackets that are attached to your teeth and linked together with a wire to shape the arch. Sometimes the brackets are accompanied by springs and elastics to further help move the teeth. Braces can either be attached to the front surface or the inner surface of your teeth, depending on your specific needs, but both are efficient at creating a straight smile. Our braces are made using tooth-coloured ceramics to provide an almost invisible, yet a rapid and predictable solution.

They work the same way as metal braces and are suitable for all ages from children to adults. Results are predictable and they can treat a range of cases. Because they are less visible, they are a good option if you do not want metal braces.
Lingual Braces
Lingual braces are another discreet option for cosmetic teeth straightening here at Illume Dentistry in Cheltenham. Sometimes referred to as ‘hidden braces’ they are fitted to the inside of the teeth instead of the front. Like traditional braces they use brackets and wires and results are predictable. Lingual braces are suitable for all ages but are more commonly used for adult orthodontic treatment.
