Dental Bridges
Dental bridges are used to replace one or more missing tooth, using the surrounding teeth to support the bridge. Bridges are a great option when dental implants cannot be used. Our bridges are made by a specialist dental technician to ensure a strong accurate fit that is not only comfortable, but mimics natural teeth.
Benefits of dental bridges
There are many benefits to dental bridges, as they are incredibly strong, can be used to chew with, will last for years, and don’t need to be removed for cleaning. Using porcelain to mimic natural teeth, dental bridges also look and feel more lifelike than dentures.
The process
There are different types of bridges. Some which don’t damage adjacent teeth and others which use crowns for support. Our experienced dentists will assess the best type for you.
We make dental bridges by preparing the adjacent teeth for crowns that support the bridge. The bridges are made in one or more parts, depending on the number of missing teeth and their position. Created by a specialist dental technician, bridges are made from a combination of ceramic fused to a metal substructure. The metal provides strength, rigidity and an accurate fit, while the ceramic looks like natural tooth tissue.
