Following
advice from our dental regulators and Public Health England and in the light of
the Government’s advice in the Prime Minister’s announcement yesterday evening
we are making further temporary changes to the way we work.
We have been
told that this is a matter of national emergency, the biggest threat this
country has faced for decades and that staying at home is necessary to save
lives and protect the NHS.
As a result
we will continue to work in the best interest of safety for both our clients
and our team. Our telephones are being managed by our nurses during normal
working hours to ensure you have continuing access to us and our dentists are
available to speak with you and discuss any concerns you may have. We have been
able to triage dental emergencies and care for those with pain and we will
continue to do so.
As a team we
are doing everything we can to remain, fit, well and able to work. We also feel
it is essential that we do our part to reduce the spread of the virus.
For clients
due a routine healthy mouth review or a hygiene appointment in the next few
months, please be assured that we have measures in place to extend our opening
hours to evenings and Saturdays when we are informed it is safe to do so. This
way we can ensure recall patterns remain as close to your recommended dental
provision as possible.
Please phone
or email us if you have further questions or concerns, keep safe and healthy
and watch this space for further updates when available.
